Porsche Boxster 986 987 Shock Absorber Bump Stops 1x partworks 98633330101

Shock absorber bump stops protect against bottoming out under full compression, whilst the integrated bellows shield the sensitive piston rod seal from dirt and moisture. These foam components deteriorate over time, becoming porous and torn, which compromises both the bump stop function and accelerates wear on the shaft seal. Renewing them during suspension maintenance significantly extends shock absorber life.
