Over time, the rubber boot of the ball joint can fail due to dynamic stress and material degradation, allowing dirt and water to contaminate the joint. Regular inspection for play is essential, and control arms should always be replaced in pairs on each axle. This Meyle version represents the modified specification required by Porsche TPI 44/17.
