This freewheel pulley is designed specifically for Porsche models equipped with manual transmissions. Mounted on the alternator, it allows the generator to disengage when engine speed exceeds belt speed, reducing parasitic drag. We recommend replacing it together with the V-belt and idler pulleys to ensure optimal alternator performance and longevity.
