Over time, the rubber insert in your rear lock becomes porous and crumbles, causing an annoying creaking tailgate as vibrations can no longer be properly dampened. This genuine partworks replacement restores the damping function and eliminates unwanted noise. The insert is pressed into the lock mechanism, with four retaining rings that protrude to secure it in place. Installation is straightforward after cleaning and greasing the lock pawls.
