Description:
This is the top mount for the rear axle. This thrust bearing is a steel construction with damping inserts, the surface is painted black. They connect the rear axle tube to the body. Over the years, the original thrust bearings are usually worn out and porous. There is no original replacement and therefore a rear axle that is too spongy is a problem for many 924-968s.
This muted version is ideal for road traffic. If you want a sportier driving experience, you will find a rigid version under 1152 in our shop.
