Genuine Bosch knock sensor set for Porsche 944 S, 944 S2, 944 Turbo and 968 models.

The knock sensors are an important part of the engine management system, monitoring engine vibration and detonation to help protect the engine and maintain correct ignition timing. Faulty sensors can cause poor running, reduced performance and limp-home mode operation.

Common symptoms of a failing knock sensor include:

• Engine warning light illuminated

• Fault codes stored

• Reduced engine performance

• Increased fuel consumption

• Hesitation or poor running

Typical causes of failure can include internal short circuits, damaged wiring, corrosion, mechanical damage or incorrect installation.

These are genuine Bosch sensors used within the Porsche LH-Jetronic management system. Two sensors are fitted to the vehicle and this kit includes both required sensors for replacement.
