Display climate control unit for PORSCHE Boxster 986 climate control LCD repair V1

Early LCDs suffer from the long lifespan requirements and stop working after more than a decade of use. The climate control display is also a typical defective component in the Porsche Boxster. With this repair kit you can solve the problem inexpensively and permanently.

Tip: We advise against buying a “still intact” climate control unit: It is only a matter of time before the display reaches the end of its life expectancy and expires. So it is better to save time, money and hassle and install a display that has been manufactured true to the original using modern production technology and tighter tolerances.

Repair note: Installation should be carried out by a specialist, but is supported by illustrated instructions in DE/EN/FR/ES/RU/IT. All you need to replace it is a screwdriver and needle-nose pliers. No soldering is required.

Design: The LCD corresponds to the original Porsche design and is not a “similar” third-party solution. Some Audi displays are installed, the installation of which requires adjustments to the housing and does not have a true-to-original design.
